About “Turning Hearts” Ministry
 

Malachi 4:5-6 reminds us of an important work to be done before the second coming of Jesus – turning hearts. Whose hearts? The hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers. It is a work of restoration – restoration of the family.

The book Education tells us that the work of true education is a work of restoration. It is a work of restoring God’s ideal in mankind. We read that “Never will education accomplish all that it might and should accomplish until parents fully recognize the importance of their work and receive a training for its sacred responsibilities.” – Education, 276.

Is that final message of Malachi connected with the work of true education? Indeed it is, for true education is incomplete if it does not begin with the restoration of the family. And this work of restoration is a work all of God’s people are called to be a part of as we embrace true education to prepare a people for the second coming of Jesus.
 

Turning Hearts Ministry exists for the purpose of helping families be ready for Jesus’ coming through fulfilling that Malachi message. We seek, through the message and principles of true education, to equip parents to properly bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We seek to inspire young people to find inspiration in the ways of the Lord and be properly trained to form that great army to finish the work. We seek to build and restore relationships to help prepare a people for the great crisis ahead and for the coming of the Lord.

 

About this year’s event
 

The 2026 true education event is themed "Preparing an Ark", with our key text taken from Hebrews chapter 11. “By faith Noah … prepared an ark to the saving of his house.”  There is a great crisis coming that will test the faith of all. We want our families to be prepared. We want our children, our youth, and we ourselves to be able to stand for our faith no matter the cost. We want our families to be saved.
 

Noah’s family was saved with him in the ark. Yet this did not come easily or by chance. Noah had a work of preparation, in preparing a refuge – both a spiritual refuge and a physical one – for his family. His family was saved as a result of his faithfulness as a father. He properly educated his sons, involving them in the preparation for the crisis, and they joined him as a sharer in his faith.
 

We too have an ark to build. We have a work to do to prepare our families for the crisis. We are told that “Success in education depends on fidelity in carrying out the Creator’s plan” – Education, 50. Noah obeyed in every particular the directions that the Lord had given him to prepare. God’s law and His direction is to be our protection and it is obedience to His commands that prepares our families and will bring safety in the crisis and eternal salvation to our families.
 

This year’s event will focus on this work of preparation. Through practical and inspiring messages on true education, the restoration of the family, country living, agriculture, medical missionary work, and many more topics, families will be inspired and united in preparing an ark.
